I studied a diploma in Library Science and, later, a degree in Documentation at the Open University of Catalonia. I furthered my education with a couple of postgraduate courses: one on Library Planning and Management at Pompeu Fabra University and another on Management Skills at the Autonomous University of Barcelona.
I worked in the Civil Service for more than 30 years: first in libraries and later in Public Policies for Gender Equality at the Barcelona Provincial Council, as head of projects and programmes. Culture and gender equality are crucial issues for me, both personally and professionally. A few years ago my life took a major turn and I reinvented myself as an entrepreneur, first as an independent consultant and, in 2018, creating and founding LaGroc.
I coordinate multidisciplinary teams and create new teams as and when needed. I manage the day-to-day running of LaGroc with the rest of the team. I’m excited to see the changes we bring about through our work.
I enjoy cooking, the sea, swimming, and a cup of green tea, especially in good company. I like music, art, reading, and I can’t live without my plants.
