As every year, the Area of Equality and Social Sustainability of the Diputació de Barcelona organizes the Summer School, a cycle of conferences, round tables and workshops that generate a space for reflection, exchange and knowledge of the local social policies environment for professionals from municipalities and local authorities in the province of Barcelona.
During the first week of July, the Summer School hosts a wide range of conferences, round tables and workshops, in face-to-face and online mode, with the aim of promoting debate and advancing in the social transformation that is achieved through innovation processes in local public policies.
These conferences, round tables and workshops range from topics such as care and equal opportunities, through healthy eating, new models of coexistence for the elderly and touching on crucial issues such as health with a gender perspective and homelessness.
From LaGroc and in collaboration with the cooperative utomica, we have organized all the part of technical secretariat, production, council and coordination of the 31st and 32nd edition of the Summer School. The first year, this was organized 100% in online format, and this year 2023, it has been made half in person and online.
Tasks performed
Some of the tasks we have carried out are the following:
- Contact and organization of the test sessions to collect the technical needs and specify contents and distribution of time with the invited people.
- Preparation of technical ladders.
- Design, council and production of the simultaneous sessions of the conference.
- Editing and editing of the videos of all the presentations and round tables.
- Coordination of the different teams
