The Ciutat Vella Education Plan is a framework document from which the education policies of the Ciutat Vella district are developed in the period set by the plan. This was developed for the period from 2019 to 2023 and from LaGroc during 2022 and 2023 we have been in charge of the whole monitoring and evaluation process.
Methodology
In order to carry out this process, the steps followed were as follows:
- Gathering of information and monitoring of the different programmes, services, actions and lines of work that have been carried out during the period of the plan. This information has been obtained thanks to the dynamisation of different working sessions made up of key actors in the district. In addition, to complement the information, different personal interviews were also organised in order to gain a more in-depth knowledge of what was being worked on in the field of education in Ciutat Vella.
- Organisation of working sessions to obtain information to extract qualitative data from the perceptions, opinions and personal experiences of the people invited.
- Creation of a technical evaluation tool that has made it possible to monitor and evaluate the plan on the basis of the information extracted from each of the indicators designed.
- Dynamisation of the Governance Bodies (monitoring committee and driving group) which were included in the Ciutat Vella Education Plan and which were responsible for supporting the entire evaluation process.
- Preparation of the final evaluation report detailing, among many other elements, the situation and challenges for the future in the field of education in Ciutat Vella.
- Preparation of infographics with the main objective of being able to share in a visual and understandable way the results and conclusions that have emerged from the whole process of monitoring and evaluation of the Education Plan.
